Plan to stay a bit!
You stop for ice cream - but then you have to browse the gifts, fresh veggies, bakery and vast garden center.
Delicious Ice Cream
Always a treat to stop into the market. Lunch here is fabulous, can't beat the soup and sandwich very yummy. Finishing with a locally made ice cream Scotsburn Dairy tops it off, only hard part is picking from their delicious flavors.
Busy but worth it!
Best fish chowder ever! Its a great spot to stop for just about anything but I would recomend the chowder! The Bakery has some great treats as well!

Catch of the Bay Fish n Chips - freshest and tastiest I have EVER had
August 20, 2014We were travelling from Ontario and needed a place to stop and eat lunch . This was a winner of a decision!!! I have never had such fresh and delicious fish and chips in all my life. And you get an enormous serving! Definitely worth the stop and money!! You should go here! :)

Lovely spot with selection

This is a great little market with something for everyone! There's sandwiches ready to go or fresh to order and eat in. The bakery has lots of selection and the grocery store produce is amazing.
If traveling with pets there's kennels to the side of the lighthouse to put them in, a wonderful idea.

Road trip stopping point
August 05, 2014It's a long road trip from Rhode Island to Cape Breton so a stop along the way is in order. We have used this point as our "stretch your legs and get a nice scoop of ice cream" stop.
