This is a great greasy spoon in uptown. It is 24 hours on weekends. Went here late on a Friday night and it was rather empty, quick service. Old-style glass bottles of pop. Good service, food, and prices. Would go back to again.
We go here almost every weekend and it's great. It can get busy around lunch on saturday and sunday but they have fast service which doesn't keep you waiting long. The menu is new and expanded, the English breakfast is the greatest deal around, eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, beans and toast for $8...you can't beat that. There are many... more
I went to Mars Uptown Restaurant with Karlovic, Pedrito and some other guys after getting out of 6 Degrees, near Yonge and Eglington, it is basically diner, that is your last chance to run your game, and an opportunity to get something eat because you've dancing all night long. Mars is one of the grand daddies of diners in this city. Its College Street sister was established in 1951. This newer more upscale location has changed hands since it opened in 1994, but it’s still one of the best greasy spoons in town–with an expanded menu.
