A Great Bar
March 05, 2014It was my local for 4 months. Sarah, George, Kelsey & Sarah were fabulous. Best wings in Ottawa, great beers and a comfy sofa to chillax on. Brilliant

Good food, great drinks

The atmosphere is great... Its quaint and the building is a heritage site (built in the 1860s). We ordered several appetizers and enjoyed all of them but our favorites were the daily soup - it was rabbit barley - the lobster poutine and the wings.
We also loved the interesting beer cocktails and rum cocktails. So good.

Great atmosphere
November 17, 2013We normally enjoy an evening out at the Byward market area when in Ottawa. Walking from our hotel we noticed this place. It looked interesting. We decided to stop for a drink ($6 for a pint) better the Byward prices. We were told the building was built in 1863 and it had that old time charm. We ordered a drink... more
