neatest place
you should see what this place looks like from outside, so unique. must be an old building from back in history or something. classy and food was great.

Nope, it certainly is not.
The Restaurant at Lougheed House is indeed the sort of brunch spot where the napkins are linen, the settings are perfectly placed and the food is far from bland.

Great atmosphere, food mediocre

We picked up a Travelzoo deal and headed for lunch on a Friday. Location is great, historic building is a unique atmosphere. Food was good - just lacked flavour; pretty bland. I had the vegetable soup and prime rib sandwich; husband had chicken sandwich. Service was fantastic.
This could be a lot better, given the location and setting.

Mediocre at best
June 28, 2014Really bad service even though nobody was in the restaurant! We had to get our own water! The bloody mary was a disaster and they didn't even notice how much of our food we didn't have. To have brunch in a historical building set amongst concrete jungle , in a bright family setting style of dining room, was indeed the ambience fit for this type of meal. Food was good, not exceptional, but certainly compatible with the dining environment.
