We picked up a Travelzoo deal and headed for lunch on a Friday. Location is great, historic building is a unique atmosphere. Food was good - just lacked flavour; pretty bland. I had the vegetable soup and prime rib sandwich; husband had chicken sandwich. Service was fantastic.
This could be a lot better, given the location and setting.
Really bad service even though nobody was in the restaurant! We had to get our own water! The bloody mary was a disaster and they didn't even notice how much of our food we didn't have. To have brunch in a historical building set amongst concrete jungle , in a bright family setting style of dining room, was indeed the ambience fit for this type of meal. Food was good, not exceptional, but certainly compatible with the dining environment.
