Quite a disappointment. The setting is good, especially in the summer when it's possible to eat outside. The food is mediocre, limited selection. We had a Thai green curry with completely tasteless fish cakes swimming in a too sweet sauce. It was anybody's guess if these 'cakes' were actually fish. Smallish portion for $12. Along with all the other restaurants in the market long tail is not exception. The food is very good and a wide selection. They have their own dedicated patio and a fantastic place to sit on a summer afternoon along the river.
We were surprised by the tastiness and flavours of the Pad Thai and Gai Lan Pork Belly. The flavours and textures were excellent. We ate here on our last night in New Westminster, and were so impressed we went back the next morning for an early lunch before checking out.
