The "stupendous" view of Stanley Park, the mountains and "seaplanes taking off" is the draw at this West Ender where the "decent" Pacific NW plates get mixed reviews; still, with "cool surroundings", "hip" decor and a "beautiful backlit bar", it's a "place to be seen" and "fantastic" for drinks.

Implied that I was faking my celiac disease and refused to help me find a gluten-free option on the menu. Then, knowingly served me a very gluten-filled pasta dish (which the menu failed to describe as).
When I emailed management, they sent me a stock response and still wouldn't tell me which menu items were gluten-free.
Won't be back.

I loved this place. Been here twice now and have not been disappointed either with the service or the food. The food is very fresh with lots of flavour and the view is, of course, spectacular. Only con is that it's a bit out of the way if you're coming from the business district.

Quite at the last minute, our group of 5 decided to try dinner at Lift. Several of us have had drinks on their patio in summer, one of the best in the city, but none of us had actually eaten downstairs in the restaurant. We hadn't made a reservation, so decided to take a chance on their ability to accomodate us. We were not diappointed!
