Very good food and fun service!
Lick's has such a fantastic menu.. so not run of the mill. I really like their nature burgers, which are meatless, but you wouldn't even know it. They have great fresh toppings and the guk sauce is a must (but only if your dining partner has it too... garlic!).
I love their old fashioned soda fountain feel too at the ice cream counter. My favourite is to ask for a vanilla coke and they add syrup to it. So good! The burgers are huge and the staff is really fun and energetic.
Always good with friendly staff
When I was growing up we used to meet my grandparents at Licks on Bronte Road. I've always enjoyed the food and the Hamilton restaurant is no exception. I love the Backhomeburger and onion rings.
The only issue I have is with the cleanliness of the restaurant. They have lights that hang over the counter and they are covered in dust. They've been like this for years and it's pretty gross.

Not all the food items are on the menu board. Have to keep an eye out for different items. Burgers are always good and a few extra toppings for fries like the works and chili fries. Portions are on the small side for fries for what you pay for. Everything seems to cost extra too, mayo & cheese. The waitress was good as she rang our order up twice to see which would be cheaper for us.

October 04, 2012I took my son to dinner tonight and he wanted to have Lick's. We ordered a Homeburger combo and a Jumbo dog combo. They placed the bottle of water and Coke immeditely on the tray and slid it down the counter. They toasted the buns and asked what we wanted on them. Then it got ugly. The cook came to... more

so much food
July 29, 2012if you like really (and i mean really) thick burgers, then this place is for you. Eating a normal burger there has as much meat as a big mac without the extra bun. for me, it's way too much, but to each their own. It may be too much beef, but it's pretty tasty.
