Venerable old favourite still operating in Rosedale
May 22, 2014We enjoyed the take-out that we got from this long-established French food shop. You probably will too. There is a feeling of greater authenticity here than many of the other similar deli shops in this oh-so toney area. Honest good food. I am done. the end.

Avoid Le Petit Gourmet!
Quite the most inedible French pastries I have tasted in Toronto in many years in a city that is now fortunate enough to offer genuine French baking if you know where to look.
Commercial quality, Sysco-like fillings encased in a chewy inedible pastry wrapping are not worth a stop here. You can find better in the...

Very Provençale
January 24, 2013We love the Provençale cuisine offered at this restaurant. Chef Christian prepares comforting dishes that recall a trip to Southern France. I love the Gateau Basque too ! And the Croissants ! The little courtyard in the back is lovely in the summer.
