This theatre is a charming surprise tucked away in a residential neighbourhood near the art gallery and lieutenant governor's residence. Seats about 150 and even offers a licensed lounge for a glass of wine or beer before the show. This is community theatre at its best offering 6 plays a year that are a mix of traditional and modern works. Definitely worth a try. Tickets are about $20 but... more

A hidden gem

Langham Court Theatre is a small theatre with great plays. We watched four of them so far. All shows were very entertaining. We specially were amazed by the amount of work they must have put in costumes and set decoration (would have adopted the "dog" in "Heroes" right away). Now we are looking forward to see "Penelopiad" by Margret Atwood.... more
