daughters grad dress

Initially we thought this store was organized and capable. My daughter picked out a dress she loved and was fortunate to find it in stock in Toronto. From then on...it was a nightmare. We were told by the store owner that she would have it shipped to Terrace, BC and it would arrive within one week. Nearly 4 weeks later...it still hadn't arrived. We finally tracked it down sitting in L'amore in Kelowna waiting for us to come and get it. When we informed them that they were supposed to ship it to Terrace, their lies began. Amazingly they even told my daughter where in Terrace it could be fitted once it arrived. The owner and clerks were extrodinarily rude when they were caught in their lies. They then suggested the dress be put on a greyhound bus and shipped....AN $800.00 DOLLAR DRESS!!! When we insisted on 24 hour purolater shipping they became confrontational. When we called several days later (yup, the dress hadn't arrived)the owner stated it was shipped greyhound and gave us a waybill number Unbelievable as that may sound, she was corrected the next day by her employee that it had gone by purolater and we finally received the purolater tracking number.
Laughingly, she even had the nerve to tell us she covered the shipping, but she doesnt usually do this.
My wife and I are far more educated than this owner, and we found it truly dispicable that she would lie to the three people who were there in the store and heard exactly the same thing. She tried to deny that the dress was to be shipped to Terrace and then tried to state that she doesn't pay for it. Since when do you throw an expensive dress in the loading bays of a bus??
I would avoid this store at all costs. They are dishonest and don't give a damn about what happens once you pay the money.
