Established in 1995
I opened my first restaurant in Powell River in 1995 and ran it for 10 years. Then i opened La casita- Gastown in 2005 and its still shredding.

Best Mexican food in Vancouver, BC
Every day La Casita Gastown offers deals and specials on various menu items. Food flies out fast and it is very delicious! Totally recommend!

Owner Cazador de la Torre promotes the Yucatan in fluffy homemade tortillas, chocolatey moles, and enchiladas in small ($13), medium ($16), or large ($17.50) formats. The chile rellenos rate with a blended margarita or an ice-cold Dos Equis. Came here a while back with my bf and 2 friends but I don't remember what I ordered so I can't make a review on it. This will be my second time coming here but this time it was only with my bf. Place wasn't as busy as I thought it would since it opens until 2 AM but no complaints since we were seated very quickly.

Came by on Taco Tuesday, and ordered the special. Since I'm a pescatarian, I got the Super Bean, Egg (new on the menu) and Fish tacos. They were really fresh and great quality. Great central Gastown location, right across from the Woodward's development. Highly recommended!
