Whereas Japanese inspired pastries are quite good (albeit a bit on the heavy side)
I was more disappointed with the pain au chocolat (but the chocolate inside is really good) and even more so with the croissants. The croissant was not crispy enough outside and the inside was too floury.
They don't do hot chocolate (!!!) but have very good black cherry juice.

I didn't like it. I had a purple chocolate dessert and it was sour and bitter on top; and bland and creamy on the bottom. The bottom was chocolate and so was the crust. The crust was dry. Ick. And it looked like they used a ton of coloring. I can't even finish it.
Love this place. A bit pricey for a dozen but I always love their macarons. They're made just slightly bigger than most along the Yonge strip and they're all made pretty well. Would definitely come here again as always it's one of my fave stops whenever I'm in the area. Would recommend this place to other people as well.
