A fantastic place to stay in
August 23, 2014Loved the ambiance of Kirkman House and Ellen the host was fantastic. She was very accommodating to food allergies and food sensitivities. I stayed Saturday to Monday and both breakfast were truly delicious. The added bonus is Whiskey the doggie greeter. A very gentle old soul. I would not hesitate to book another stay at Kirkman House.

Restful and Romantic
May 05, 2014I have stayed three times at Kirkman House and it was great each time. Once alone and twice with my husband. Ellen makes a fantastic and generous freshly made breakfast and was able to meet all my dietary requirements (dairy-free vegetarian) without compromising taste or quantity or variety. Great find and perfect location
August 17, 2013We had a very comfortable stay at Kirkman house, the room was really nice and the breakfasts were top notch. Our hostess Ellen made us feel like family and our stay was very memorable, will go back to stay!
