Very good. I had the spicy garlic pork shoulder cheese ramen, and probably took half home. Huge serving; you could definitely share it with someone. I will return to try more of the menu.

I've heard so many good things about Kinton, so I decided to give it a try. I came here on a Tuesday at 1pm, and the restaurant was busy but not packed. It was packed around 2pm though.

From the owners of Japanese izakaya chain Guu comes this similarly high-quality noodle house, which exclusively serves large helpings of ramen noodles in a variety of broths, with toppings such as beansprouts, pork belly, sweet corn and more. A handful of sides like pork dumplings and kimchi round out the menu. Lunch, dinner daily. Casual. Entrees: $9.50-$12.80. AE, MC, V.

At first glance, any restaurant with the word "Ramen" in the title doesn't seem like it would make a 10 Best list. Although ramen may be the choice of college students with the stringiest of budgets, it has been elevated as of late. Kinton Ramen gives a solid example of how fantastic ramen can be, with bowls and portions that are steaming hot and made to order. You can order your broth light,... more

Ramen lovers have been drowning themselves in Kinton Ramen’s heaping portions of pork bone broth and handmade chewy noodles after it opened with much fanfare in 2012. The Japanese restaurant is nothing short of an experience: often the meal starts out with a queue, but upon arrival the chorus of Japanese servers deliver a resounding “hello!” and the restaurant buzzes with multilingual chatter... more
