Generally I don't believe in giving perfect scores.. But anything less for Kettleman's would be a downright lie. They make real the definition of a perfect Montreal-style bagel: soft, dense, chewy, subtly sweet, not dry.

They have many bagel flavours and a nice selection of cream cheese. I've tried their Müslix, All Dressed, Lemon & Cranberry, and Herb & Cheese bagels + light vegetable spread.... more

Here's the truth. I'd move back to Ottawa for Kettleman's . The best Jerry! The best.

They're open 24/7, and perfect for young hungry drunk people after the bar. Try their breakfast combo, complete with latke.

If you're in the Glebe, give this place a try. An Ottawa highlight. Students -- you can't go wrong w the price either.

I was hoping to relive my bagel experience from Montreal and although these are Montreal style, they really didn't compare. They are fine bagels, but nothing special. It is cool to watch them roll the dough and cook them.
