Good small English style pub
Rather authentic English pub and has good variety of beers. Food is "pub" food, which is good if that's what you are looking for. Always a fun experience to pretend you are in jolly old England!
Small!!
I understand what this pub is going for. UK style pub, really cramped, overpriced beer. But come on, cater to us and don't just try to present an image.

this is a really small pub, and it's too small because it's hard to get in on the weekends. i see that it's supposed to be like a real London pub, but I've never been to London so I can't appreciate that, I just want a place I can get in!

My friends and I were out for a birthday celebration recently and we'd not been to Kensington Pub before. I'm approaching fortysomething, so sadly, pub time is rather infrequent these days. Maybe it was the novelty of going out on the town, but I thought the place was cool. I liked the decor. This quaint little pub tucked away in a corner of Kensington is a neighborhood gem. I love the little four table patio off the upper level. The food is always good with fairly large portions. The French onion soup is very flavorful. I wish they had more of a happy hour

When the directions to a place end with the sentence: "Turn right at the Tardis," I can basically guarantee a 3 star experience in the least. When the Whovian directions are matched by a sweet little neighbourhood pub, with a decent craft beer selection and some fairly ninja-esque service standards? Yup. I dub thee my part time Calgary home.
