Shoddy work

Our house was built in 2005. Not a great experience. Piece-work building mentality - just get it done and move on to the next house. Zero attention to detail, cheap finishes and options. The project manager was MIA. We've got joists that they've chopped into and tried to cover up with scrap wood and carpeting. They say it's within code regulations!
