Superb!!
An awesome dinner. Everything was cooked to perfection. Staff was attentive. A lovely meal.

Kalvas is the locals' special-occasion restaurant, a rustic-looking lodge with a bustling dining room. The specialties are steaks and seafood prepared in traditional supper-club style: sole amandine, New York steak, steamed Dungeness crab served with drawn butter, and nine preparations of Fanny Bay oysters.

Nice setting in a huge Log Cabin, we visited on a wet February Saturday night and the place was pretty busy.
Staff: very friendly and pleasant
Food: good to very good, I had the Prime Beef, cooked to perfection, vegetables and German noodles were good.
The only complaint I have is the Yorkshire pudding had been pre cooked and was crunchy on the outside and totally missed the proper consistency...

Service please
August 11, 2014Unfortunately my family couldn't enjoy the food since we weren't served! Stood at the front for 10 mins ( no lineup) before being seated. Then sat at our table another 20 mins without being served as much as water, never mind being able to order an appetizer or glass of wine. Lobster dish a must have
August 09, 2014I visited Kalvas again for our monthly night out this time we had the Lobster platter for two .. the large sized lobster was perfectly cooked and the fish was moist and tasty .. Our waiter Jon went above and beyond to make our dinning experience a time to remember
