The food is excellent. Try anf find a better steak in Ottawa I dae ya! It melts in your mouth like butter! It is important to note that this is a very busy restaurant, so reservations are recommended. Be warned as well you are sat a horseshoe shaped tables where you will be sitting with strangers.

Things sure have changed at the Japanese Village. You can't even finish a conversation and have tea after your meal at your table. They recommend that if you want to "talk" than you should go to the other room (where we were completely ignored btw). We used to go here for every occasion...never again.
