If you're looking for something casual and local that won't be full of other tourists reading downtown maps, this little Gastown hideaway is just the spot. The 22 pizza combinations are served on fresh, crispy crusts baked in an old wood-fired oven; pastas are homemade. The wine list is decent; the beer list is inspired. And they even have a patio. Much to the delight of Kitsilano residents, a... more

When delivery simply will not do, here’s a bricks and mortar pizza joint that feels like a proper date. Heritage location overlooking the train tracks, waterfront and mountains, inside the lofty ceilings and dramatic windows keep views interesting for dinner or daytime. First time visiting Incendio. It was great! The server continuously topped up our drinks. The carnivore pizza and bolognese pasta we ordered were delicious! Definitely recommend this place. Only bad thing is trying to read the menu.. It was dark out and the lighting inside is super dim.

I've eaten at this place a few times over the years, but this most recent time will be my last. I ordered my pasta, and when it arrived it had a large nasty black hair in it. Very unappetizing. When I let the waiter know about it, I was told that I would get 50% off of a dessert if I chose to order one.. lame. Will not return.

Situated in a Gastown heritage building, this hip pizzeria has garnered many awards for best Italian and pizza. The popular cheese pies are the highlight here, with fresh toppings and a thin crust made from scratch, slowly baked in an enormous wood-burning oven. Fresh soups, pastas and salads are also available. Its charming and casual interior is warm, with bright yellow and ochre walls and... more
