Post-grad blues

I recently graduated from Humber College earning a post-graduate certificate in Marketing. I have heard amazing things about the school, but my experience was not as great as people made it sound. The people I met were fantastic and the structure of the school is beautiful, but I found my teachers to be less than desirable. I do not feel I got enough hands on experience and they did not help students with finding an internship. My understanding from speaking with a number of people who have also attended the school is that the full term courses are fantastic. My course was an accelerated course and only 2 semesters. I have heard negative reviews about accelerated post-grad courses and quite positive reviews about full term courses. However, I still recommend the school because I had a great time and met a ton of great people. As well, it has a great reputation and I always hear positive feedback from people when I tell them I graduated from Humber. It is a respected institution that has a lot to offer, just be aware of the post-grad courses!
