View is great, just don't look around your room

Spent 3 nights at the hotel and have stayed at the Highliner for over 11 years and it is sad to see it deteriorate to such a level. The staff was great in getting us in but the rooms are very old and neglected. The telephone did not work and getting into bed the first night the leg collapsed. After... more

We have stayed at the Highliner Plaza in Prince Rupert many times while traveling through. It's clear that we have short memories, because each time we stay here we vow that next time we'll find somewhere better. The rooms are spartan, the beds are uncomfortable, and the hallways and elevators smell strangely. I will say that the view is outstanding.... more
