Havana is another great spot on Commercial. You don't have to wait until Friday or Saturday to check them out, they have daily specials that change frequently. Their ambience and decor is very nice, and their facilities are clean. Their outdoor patio is great during the summer. They have a great drink menu and their Columbian inspired dinner menu is exceptional. Their servers are attentive to the slightest details. Havana is definitely a star amongst the other hotspots on Commercial Drive.
Just visited after a bit of a shut down due to a kitchen fire. They have really revamped this place. This was an old favourite turned new and exciting again. Great work!

My bf and I went for cocktails and appetizers. We ordered The Little Bird and Classic Daiquiri to start. Both delicious and refreshing.... more
One of my favourite places to eat in the lower mainland. The beef tacos are amazing and their old chicken tacos were hands down the best tacos I've ever had in my life. The mojitos are crazy good. Impeccable service and nice ambience.
Part restaurant, part gallery and theatre, this lively spot salutes Castro’s capital with sepia photos on the walls and Cuban-inspired cuisine on the menu. $$. B/L/D (daily).
This hip spot is the embodiment of local flavor mixed with Cuban verve. The combination restaurant, gallery and theater is a regular haunt for people who enjoy the thriving area of the Drive. The walls are decorated with aged framed photographs and covered with graffiti from visitors invited to leave their impressions with a knife. Some menu selections include Sugar Crusted Sirloin Steak,... more
