"Outstanding surroundings" "on rolling green lawns beside a tranquil lake" set the stage for the "elegantly presented" Pacific Northwest plates at this "stately" Tudor-style mansion in Burnaby; service that "makes you feel like a welcome guest" completes the "fine-dining" experience.
This lakeside dining spot has a refreshed menu from new executive chef Alana Peckham. Sample the baby shrimp and Thai ginger salad ($16), or duck leg confit served with kale, spaetzle, currant hash, and warm bacon balsamic ($17). Prolific wine selection and attentive service.
As good as it gets. I believe so. Food was amazing, place had a great heritage home atmosphere and you felt that you've been pampered by the servers the entire time. Tell me what else can they do better?
We've had mussles and clams for starter, Surf and Turf for me, and Arctic Char for her. The portion was just right, and we both had our own desserts afterwards. Will definitely be back again...

The Hart House was with out a doubt the worst experience ever.Rotten serviceworse food(Very bland and undercooked).All in all a crappy time!!We will not be returning and we are letting everyone know how horrible it was!
Food was not cooked seems to me that pork should be well done not almost raw. One hour from ordering to getting your food seems excessive.(with only a tiny tiny serving of bread for four people to hold us over!)Will not go back there.
