Terrible customer service

Worst customer service experience ever! We purchased 3 fireplaces for our home renovation and the largest one wasn't working. We were told that we'd need an electrician to complete the installation, so we followed his instructions. After having 3 different electricians look at the unit, none of them could figure out how to complete the wiring installation. Alex came back and determined that the module in the unit was faulty and needed to be replaced but that the manufacturer's warranty WOULD NOT cover it! Alex said that since we had other people working on the fireplace the manufacturer refused to cover it! Alex was the one who told us to have an electrician finish the job and now they're refusing to provide warranty coverage! Not to mention that Alex is rude and extremely difficult to work with. Do yourself a favour and STAY AWAY from this fireplace store. I would recommend Stella's in St. Catharines. I dealt with them for years before moving to Stoney Creek. She will service Stoney Creek and some parts of Hamilton. She knows customer service. WARNING: Alex, owner of Hamilton Home Comfort does NOT care about his customers.
