AWFUL CARE!! We had 2 experiences here and neither one was even satisfactory. My dog's back was hurt when another dog jumped on him. We had to wait for 2 hours despite the fact that we were the only ones in the clinic and the vets were standing there socializing for the majority of the time. My dog sat there crying and they wouldn't even exam him for 2 hours.

Our second experience was even worse. My dog became very ill and we called the clinic at 7am on a Sunday to tell them that we were coming. They told us that the vets were doing rounds and that we would have to wait until the 13 animals in the clinic were handed over to the other vet. We drove to the vet and our dog passed away on the 10 minute drive there. I'm thankful that he did because otherwise he would have been handled by one of these vets. My parents were at a conference in Toronto and my mom was on her way back to say good-bye to our dog. We told them that and they refused to let our dog come in without payment for the cremation. When my brother said that he would pay, but that my mom wanted to see him before they put him in the freezer, they refused. They told him that there was no guarantee that they could keep him out of the freezer even though my mom would be there in an hour. They said that if they had an emergency come in, they would be forced to put him in the freezer and my mom would not be able to see him. They had absolutely no compassion and we could not let them touch our dog's body. We waited until our regular vet opened on Monday morning and brought him there.

A friend of ours brought her dog in when he was having an allergic reaction to a bee sting. They were very casual and calm even though the dog couldn't breathe and was slowly dying. Our friend told them to put him down as he was suffering and they said that there was nothing to do.

UNLESS IT IS A LIFE AND DEATH EMERGENCY, AVOID THIS PLACE. I've since been to Beattie Animal Hospital (a 24-hour clinic) in Brantford and their prices are much lower for a much higher standard of care. My dog had elective surgery there and we also went when he was attacked by a skunk.
