Upstairs on the roof (not the restaurant downstairs- do not make that mistake) this place was packed, it seemed with lots of Asian locals, a younger crowd. Madonna was blaring, and the staff were buzzing around, table to table. I ordered a few small plates and enjoyed everything. A complete different fun experience - theatre and food combined. From the moment you arrive, you are shouted a welcome whilst being seated. Luckily, we got there when it opened at 5.30. This is not your run of the mill Japanese restaurant. Small, noisy but great and different food. We didn't have a reservation but glad we waited. First thing to know- beers are large . Second, you might not know exactly what you are ordering but assume it will be good. Our server didn't speak the best English but didn't matter.... more
