Great Place!

This place recently expanded to a new location on 726 Osborne, and its a bit messy still, but looking great.
Grape & Grain probably has the best scelection in Winnipeg for grains. So if you want to do all-grain brewing, then heres your best location.
Also a good variety of Winekits, both 4-week and 6-week.

And the coolest thing ever, is that they also have supplies for cheesemaking! Definetly wasnt expecting that, but its interesting.

Also, this store shares its location with a Game Store by the name of GameKnight Games, so if you walk in and see games, its still the right place.
(And at least if youre looking for party games to go along with your alcoholic bevarages, this is the right place.)

It is really the only place to get hops or grain in Winnipeg (and while you're at it why don't you pick up some D&D or Magic as it is also a gamer store), and one of the few that carries DME. But $13 for Wyeast? Really? And $6 / lb for DME? I understand there are some issues relating to shipping but the markup seems prohibitive.

This is pretty much the only place in Winnipeg that specializes in quality beer brewing ingredients. The place has some canned and boxed kits, as well as some custom kits (which include specialty grain for steeping) that the owner puts together himself.
