Would not Recommend

Last year I bought some tires and had them mounted. The price was ok...but the service was terrible. The rim on the rear passenger side was damaged. When I brought it to Randy's attention he blew me off. He said it was impossible that it happened in his shop and refused to discuss it. Funny, it wasn't there before they did their work. The tech should have admitted to what he did. I would NEVER recommend this shop to anyone. In fact I have told people not to go there!

Ripoff servcie

STAY AWAY from this place even if BCAA suggests them,

This place charges for "diagnostic testing", even if your vehicle is not electronic. Apparently though, the diagnostic fee tax of 114.00, is for every hour that they are still trying to find the problem. The manager will inform you, that if they did not charge a diagnostic fee, they would go bankrupt.

Another reason for the diagnostic, is for the step by step proccess. First, diagnose the problem, second, inform you of price and parts, and then
third, once authorized by you, start work. They will emphasize this process, that no work will be done, unless you authorize it.

However, this is not the case. Not only do they not phone you, but they dismantle your vehicle, and order parts before you provide your consent.

And as an added bonus, if your vehicle goes in for say, an electrical problem, you might just find that it is the catalytic converter that needs replacing. They diagnose everything but the problem you went in for.

If you are one of the lucky ones, you might be able to limp your vehicle to another mechanic to fix, as it seems they don't reassemble what you have not authorized them to do. Not to mention, the parts they recommend your vehicle needs to resolve your problem, is completely unnecessary.

But the real clincher is; that after all this diagnosis, loss of yout vehicle, which could be days, taking your vehicle to another mechanic to reassemble and be reassured that the various parts that they insisted was part of the problem, are in fact in fine working condition is: that your original problem is not fixed.

Not to worry though, because if you can drive your vehicle off the lot, regardless of dismantled parts, they are not responsible for the servicing they did to your vehicle, which did not fix the original problem. So you could go in with one problem, pay an exorbitant bill for various work, that could take days, and then leave still having the same problem, of which you have no recourse.

When you try to get a refund, for even part of the bill, they will argue mechanic details, knowing that you cannot make a valid counter exchange
because you are ignorant of comprehensive automotive repair, even though you have it on authority from the other mechanic that their analysis is dubious at best. But while they dazzle you with unverifiable mechanic details, they will also inform you that they have done you a favour
because they could have charged you 5 hours for diagnostic discovery, (how bad must these mechanics be for problem discovery to last 5 hours?) but for you they made an exception. Lucky you, you have experienced ultimate source auto ripoff.

Just stay away from this place.
