If you're determined to see all of Toronto's historic homes, otherwise I can't really recommend it. The house is pretty small, easily seen in its entirety in about 30 minutes, and the surrounding grounds are pretty scant. I definitely enjoyed visiting places like Spadina House & Colborne Lodge a lot more.
The Gibson House is a museum dedicated to the man who helped lay out the plans for the city of Toronto. My friend and I took a tour there one day and we thoroughly enjoyed it!
