A colorful storefront sit-down restaurant on Fairfield Road welcomes budget-minded diners to this great neighborhood "chipper." The menu is limited to fish (halibut, haddock, cod, rockfish) burgers, and hand-cut chips, all excellent. The halibut burger is a scrumptious treat; so is the oyster burger. You can order your fish lightly or richly battered.

Best Fish and Chips, Great Burgers
December 27, 2012The best fish and chips I have had are from here. Wrapped in newspaper and ready to take to the beach to eat. They also have been voted best in town for burgers, and my husband the burger fiend doesn't disagree with this assessment.

Very disappointing
September 10, 2012We chose this chip shop based on TA reviews. For the first time I have been lead astray! The portions were small and the fish was very dry and chewy. I would not recommend this restaurant nor will I return

A locally owned family business, Fairfield Fish & Chips has been in operation since 1995. Four varieties of fish are served: halibut, haddock, cod and rock fish, all accompanied by a plentiful portion of homemade, hand-cut chips. A few sides are offered to round out your meal, such as prawns, calamari, onion rings, cole slaw and fried zucchini. Really good burgers, too.
