There was a 45 minutes film that was offered with tea and cookies. What a delightful surprise to learn about 3 female artists. If you want to watch the film, give an extra 45 minutes, otherwise it does not take that long to view the house.
My husband and I had a wonderful afternoon at the Emily Carr House - it was a true step into the past and also a great learning experience. My grandmother was friends with her younger sister and had met Emily on many occasions. It felt like I was connecting somewhat with my Grandmother :) Fun day!
