Eliot's Bookshop may look small from the outside, but inside it is 3 stories high and packed with all kinds of books. I love just browsing and picking up interesting and cheap little novels. Definitely recommended.
Eliot's Bookshop is a three story bookstore near Yonge and Wellesley that sells a huge variety of used books including many classic literature.
If you are looking for a weird, cool used bookstore experience go to Eliot's. There are three floors of books and when you get up to the top floor it can feel as though you have left the world behind. Their fiction collection on the second floor is very good. They have a pretty good sociology and entertainment section as well.
Awesome place when you happen to be looking for authors like Charles Bukowski and such.
Collecting paperbacks when I can I would say this place is equally as good as BMV and other larger used book outlets. Just another reason why I love going downtown.
Books line the walls of the entire store and there's even a hidden door. So cool.
I love the selection at Eliot's. There's a huge selection, and some of the most random books you can find there, ever. I spend a huge time on the third floor. I found a diary of a lady who had moved to Canada in the 1920s. There were several volumes, and feeling extremely poor at the time, I could not buy it.
