A GREAT place to stay
October 08, 2012Drove from Halifax and stayed at the Dufton House...it was one of the best B&B we have every stayed in and we have travelled the country from the east coast to the west coast...breakfast was just wonderful,and the hostess friendly and caring for are needs..definately a 5 star! Bed and Breakfast.We will be back...Tom and Shelly

A B&B with breakfast on your time schedule. Feels like home without having to do daily chores
August 25, 2011Staying at the Dufton House is a delight! Our room is very large with a stocked mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, and pretty much anything else you could want to make light meals. Every day our hostess leaves the next morning's breakfast treat as well as fresh fruit and juice. We eat breakfast when we want! As a runner, this... more

Dufton House was AWFUL
September 19, 2010Dufton house is more of a rooming house than a B and B; there were no common areas and no comfortable chairs to sit in . The back staircase that led to our room was dark, steep and smelled moldy. It is close to the theatre.
