Good Solid Fare
This is great place to have a solid meal. The food is great and has a very home cooked flavor to it. The portions are big. The staff is pleasant and the atmosphere is quite nice. Recommended!

May 14, 2014I recently went to back to Domus Café (now renamed John Taylor at Domus Café) for lunch. Again, the quality of the food used in preparing the meal is exceptionnal. April 30, 2014Was here several years ago and was not disappointed with this visit. Server extremely knowledgeable. Superb restaurant that uses local growers for a truly “Canadian” menu. Casual yet elegant dinning room in the heart of the ByWard Market. My guest enjoyed an outstanding cooked arctic char while I went the way of le lapin (the rabbit). Magnificent experience!

Excellent restaurant. Yes it might be pricey, but it is totally worth it. A lot of restaurants are pricey and do not deliver, but these guys do. We had a GREAT dinner, thank you!
