Discovery Centre is a not-for-profit charitable organization whose mission is to stimulate interest, enjoyment and understanding of science and technology through innovative, exciting, hands-on experiences for all Nova Scotians.
You can always find something to do here for your little ones and a number of the displays and themes change regularly enough to keep it interesting for visits a couple of times a year.
What a shame. The Discovery Centre could be an absolutely incredible venue for kids' birthdays and drop in visits, but it hasn't changed, at all, in many years. We went to the Discovery Center, paid $23.00 to enter only to find that Grossology had closed and there was nothing but nothing on. A few old amusements to entertain and that is that.
