Yes, I know it's a chain property, but if you have kids and a car, this all-suite hotel right across the harbor from Halifax (a 2-minute walk to the Dartmouth waterfront) is definitely one of the better options for travelers on a beer budget. Quiet hotel in a cute neighbourhood, very close to the ferry. Pleasant staff. Breakfast was less than stellar, the only downside. Highly recommend this hotel as it is a good deal. Thanks, Oceanwiew!
