Born and raised Vancouverite here. I've tried every Japanese place in the city and this is its most well kept secret. Everything on the menu is outstanding, saké selection is outstanding. A very humble place. Definitely worth the trip if you're outside of Kits. You won't be disappointed. You must try each item on the menu, I mean it.

Some sushi was good but other food disappointing

Made a reservation as it was Saturday evening. Turns out it wasn't needed because only 2 other people were there at 7:15. Initially seemed promising; good wine and sake list, interesting fresh sheet. The regular menu includes a selection of appetizers hot dishes, sushi, sashimi, rolls. We ordered tamago (egg) nigiri sushi and were informed it was sold out. Not... more
