Hotel in the middle of "The Market" Ottawa

I booked a room with two queen beds because I was travelling with my adult daughter. When checking in they could only offer a King bed. I was not satisfied and voiced my disappointment and was offered a cot at "no charge", this was certainly not acceptable and after the clerk (Valerie) consulted her supervisor several times, a room suddenly became available with two queen beds?
