Stay away from this barber shop!
Stay away from this place. Very rude OWNER. I went to Corrado's Barber Shop today as a walk-in visitor. I was told I would be taken right away by a barber. I asked it they take debit and he said no. I then went to my bank which was 5 minutes away and came back. When i arrived back there was two people waiting when i arrived. The barber had just finished a persons haircut and asked who was next. I simply stated I had been there before the two others and just went to get money. The owner said no you left and came back you are not next. The other barber was willing to take me. The owner then opened the door and said i will not be taking you as a customer. "You can leave if you want to. I am not cutting your hair." I was like I simply said I was before the other guys and just went to get money. The owner then left the shop as he was cutting someones hair and literally had a nervous breakdown.
I left the shop shortly after. I have never been treated so RUDE by anyone in my entire life. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BARBER SHOP!

October 27, 2008I'm an afficionado of "old-school" barber shops. Corrado's seemed to fit the bill: It's been on Bathurst south of Queen West for over 50 years. But I missed two warning signs. The walls are covered not just with interesting memorabilia, but also lots of pinups of topless women. I'm no prude, but I won't bring my 4-year old daughter there.
