"Bang-on" "fresh" seafood, including an extensive raw bar, has Fin-atics swimming to this "quaint" Gastown "neighbourhood gem" sporting "exposed brick", "high ceilings" and "low lighting" plus sidewalk seating; "perfect for a date", it also works for "casual business" meals or when "eating alone", with moderate tabs and "too-good-to-be-true" service as added enticements.

Francis Regio, long front-of-house at Tapastree (now Tavola), opened this casual, good-looking Gastown seafood house, an old brick-walled brasserie that tables a respectable raw bar of local oysters and fully loaded towers of Dungeness crab, mussels, Manila clams, and more. Very delicious. Myself and my uncle went in on Wednesday night and had the grilled crab legs and shrimp parfait to start, both were very enjoyable and as our main course we both had the daily... more

Owners Francis Regio and Elliott Hashimoto refurbished one of Gastown's oldest establishments into a place that's reminiscent of a French bistro. Cork & Fin, as the name suggests, features wine and fish. Head to the raw bar for divine shelled oysters or enjoy your three course set menu out on the lovely patio. The delicious seafood is made from the freshest produce and served in a tapas-style... more

Cork & Fin is located right beside Gastown's Blood Alley, which means that the restaurant is in one of the oldest spaces in Vancouver. The brick walls are contrasted by a soft white banister and the white linens and chairs evoke a French bistro; it's warm, inviting and a room you could easily spend the night in.

Cork & Fin is a raw bar and it's the perfect spot to sit up at the bar, order... more
