Bespoke Landscape Architects

Considered design inc is the studio of julian pattison and alison magill. Our journey started in england and ireland, educated respectively at heriot watt university/ edinburgh college of art, manchester university and the university of greenwich. We hold professional degrees as landscape architects and as a landscape planner. Julian is a registered member of the british columbia society of landscape architects.

Between us we have 15 plus years of experience working with some of the most influential artists, designers and architects in the world. Practical know-how, insight and inspiration has come from working with people including, dan graham, dj simpson, tanya kovatz & alex hartley, martha schwartz, tom lonsdale, penoyre & prasad, ahmm and marks barfield to name a few.

Projects have ranged from £10,000 sensory gardens for special needs schools to $760 million campus plans for a middle east oil company and all stops in between.

Our work has won awards and has been published in uk national newspapers and journals such as ‘the architectural review’, ‘the architects journal’, ‘landscape design’ and ‘the independent’.
Awards have recognised pioneering work in sustainability and education. We have also done some pretty cool gardens.
