This is not a modern hotel. But, I love the location in West End Vancouver, near everything including English Bay. The staff is so nice and helpful. The elevators are tiny and carpeted which is weird. But, you can exchange 100.00 per room per day from US to Canadian which was awesome. This is not a modern hotel but... It is beautifully located in West End Vancouver, near everything AND English Bay. I often come here for business and am always welcomed by the nicest staff. Sure your room was decorated in 1979 but it is quiet and clean and as soon as you get out the door, you are near everything you want. It's an older hotel but in a great location. The decor in the rooms is quite dated, but the rooms have lots of space and a kitchenette. Big balcony too.
Beds could be a little softer but it wasn't too bad.
The check in and staff are great.
