Bedside manor is non existent.

He just took over for our old dentist, who moved away, and is not making a good first impression.
Talked down to my son and my wife on their first visit to him and even charged an extra $69.00 for an emergency visit when the appointment was made 5 days prior.
Update:

I visited the office to ask about the charge and was told he has every right to charge an emergency fee for services rendered. I pointed out that having the right to charge extra and charging extra being right were two different things. He said my wife was making up stories about him and there were a lot of dentists out there so " go find one".
Consider it done.
He is going to learn, first hand, that when in a small community his type will find that word spreads fast.
