Ile D'Orleans is already pretty beautiful and this place just tops it off! I have been coming to Canada for a while now and never knew this place until I saw it was very crowded one day. I was really surprised that it was crowded especially for being on an island that's a little isolated. Cutest ice cream/ chocolate place ever!
It is in a house so it makes it pretty cozy and its super clean....

OMG.
Imagine from your days of Dairy Queen and the dip of the soft serve ice-cream and you thought it was good?
It wasn't.
I only know that because I had the ice cream dipped in real chocolate here and it was easily the best dip I've ever had. The chocolate was thick, rich and generous. We opted for the milk chocolate and it was so good.

An absolutely delightful chocolate factory in a gorgeous location. All chocolate is hand-made in this little shop that is over 200 years old, located at the tip of the Ile d'Orléans island, overseeing the beautiful city of Québec. Only 15 minutes from downtown, make sure to stop there to taste their wonderful chocolate or their signature ice-cream cone dipped in real, tick chocolate!
Chocolaterie de L'Ile D'Orleans offers these services: candies, confiseries, chocolate, cocoa.
Chocolate for everyone! A small chocolate shop and café, this l'Île d'Orléans business is a great stop for lunch or dessert, or just to find gifts for the folks back home. Enjoy a sandwich or salad, and then indulge in a treat: candies, cookies, brownies, cakes and pastries line the cases just waiting to be tasted. During the summer months there's homemade ice cream and sorbet, too.
