Feel like I lived here growing up. I used to adore it. Went back on a visit to Ottawa with my kids and it was. ..meh. It was lame and tiny and not very interactive. As a National museum is really, really thin and a bit sad. The trains rock, always have, always will. Otherwise it's just kinda empty and a bit dull. And you have to pay for this dinky little outside parking lot. Go to Toronto, see... more

Impressive and a lot of interesting things

This is a very good educational activity. Takes about 3hrs to see it all so it is not really a big museum.
It does though present a lot of interesting items and some sections are really well put together.
I don't understand why do you have to pay for access and I am sure many people will be readily available...
