Good produce
I always think that Safeway has pretty good produce, and that seems to be a bit comparative measure between grocery stores. Plus they accept Air Miles.

i dropped into this safeway around valentine's day because they were advertising a rose sale, and their prices were significantly cheaper than nearby florists
Heart of Kensington
This was my neighbourhood grocery store at one point, but I have since moved. I've lived in a lot of places around town, and don't always stick to the same grocery store so I have an idea which ones are / aren't good. This one is pretty busy if you go at the wrong time, and the customers here seem to be a little more "in your face" than other grocery stores. Probably just the downtown crowd, kinda pushy and always in a rush. Store itself is clean and well stocked, and they take Air Miles!
