I was forced to go to the Cabin a few times in the past year, and I was not impressed. Years ago, I went to the Cabins often. The food was great and BIG portions for us big boys.

If you are looking for "fancy," look elsewhere. If you are looking for good meals that reminds you of something your grandmother would have made, this is the place. Where else can you get meatloaf, pork steak and fish cakes in the same place - and those are just the specials!
The Cabin in fantastic. If you want home style cooking at a cheap price, you can't go wrong. The restaurant is small, so just a warning that it can be hard to get seats at peak times. Worth the wait though!
The staff are very friendly too and they have the cheapest kid's meals I have found in F'ton.
We really enjoyed our breakfast. The bread pudding was delicious. They even stayed open later than posted to serve customers

Loved the diner and local atmosphere. Picture a clean but well-worn diner. You could see right into the kitchen so I watched my meal being prepared. Service was quick and informal. The short time we waited I enjoyed reading the walls. They are packed with bumper stickers, signs, and 45s.

Was told it a greasy spoon kind of place and what I found was it was a retro-style diner with some kitschy signs inside. I had the open-faced turkey sandwich or plate and a little bread pudding, the latter of which is more a cinnamon roll.
