Minus the white linens and elaborate tasting menus he is known for, the more relaxed and intimate setting offers foodies quintessential Montréal comfort food to the highest degree of execution. I was very disappointed by this restaurant. My fish, although tasty, was very difficult to cut and had an odd texture. The choux of the paris-brest was extremely dry and tasted like it was made yesterday.. Will not go back.
Great place to come for good food. Stayed at the Hyatt and was lucky enough to find this place so close. The waiter was professional but not overly friendly (so French :-)!), which is fine by me. He knew his menu well and was able to accommodate my vegetarian diet. I would definitely go here again when in Montreal.
Surprised by some of the bad reviews of this place. We drove from Nyc and came for late lunch (1:45) place wasn't full. Server was very friendly and we ordered beef & salmon tartares (the appetizer portions were large enough to share between 2 of us). Sea snails were great. Not too overpowering and great with the bread. I love the mushroom and boiled egg (slightly salty but tasty). Nice and... plus
