I want to support this bookstore because we have so few independent bookstores left, but the surly grad school student behind the counter, with the smug face, who thinks he knows more than anyone else makes me yearn for the customer service of an Indigo.

Support your local bookstore or else everything will come from Amazon. Staff here are always friendly and don't give me a hard time when I browse for a long time or don't buy anything. Hence I like to buy here when I Can! Also ltas of local books and magazines that you can't find at big chains.

Most likely the best book store in the east end, always busy, good sales and discounts. I like hanging out in this place and seeing what I can find. Service can be lacking, a tough business these days for sure. I hope they figure it out and make it.
